CTL Benefits

The information below summarises the benefits applicable during your employment with City Technology Limited.

Salary

Details of your salary are given in your Statement of Terms and Conditions of employment. Your salary is subject to review on 1st May each year. The salary review each year takes account of general and job specific market conditions. You will receive a letter detailing any changes to your salary following the review.

Pension Scheme

The First Technology Pension Scheme is a money purchase scheme that enables you to contribute up to 9% of your salary, your contribution rate will be matched by the company up to a maximum of 10%. The company also makes additional contributions from age 40 and then age 50. You will receive a Pensions Benefit statement each year giving details of the pension contributions you have made.

Death in Service Benefit

As an employee of CTL you are entitled to a death in service benefit of two times your annual salary that would be paid to your next of kin if you die in service. Members of the First Technology Pension Scheme are entitled to four times salary death in service benefit.

Holidays

Depending on your start date you will be entitled to up to 25 days annual leave which increases to 26 days after 5 years service. In addition to this you are entitled to the statutory bank holidays.

Details of your holiday entitlement are contained in your Statement of Terms and Conditions and in the Employee Handbook.

Each year you will receive a holiday record sheet. It is your responsibility to ensure that you book holiday through your supervisor or manager.

Company Sick Pay

Company sick pay increases with length of service, again full details are contained in the Employee Handbook. As a company we monitor absence levels closely and in cases of excessive absence, your company sick pay may be stopped and disciplinary action taken.

Bonus

We operate a discretionary non-contractual bonus scheme each year. Details of the scheme are issued at the beginning of each financial year.

Staff Canteen

The canteen opening times are detailed in the Welcome Pack that you will receive on your first day with us. Please ensure that you use the canteen at the time allocated for your department, this helps to avoid queues.

Car Parking

This is free on site for anyone with a permit. A waiting list is in operation for allocation of permits. If you would like to add your name to the waiting list please advise the personnel department on your first day.
